A New Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Method and Device for Concrete

Through its newly developed BETONMETRE® device and proprietary methodology, SEBİZA determines in-situ concrete strength with high accuracy in an economical and practical manner.

Various destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods are currently used to determine the in-situ concrete strength of existing structures. While destructive testing methods yield high-accuracy results, they cause significant damage to the structure. Conversely, non-destructive testing methods do not harm the load-bearing elements; however, their accuracy in detecting concrete strength is considerably lower. This newly developed method, utilizing a specialized drilling technique, provides a solution that is both non-destructive to structural elements and capable of determining in-situ concrete strength with high precision.
